Welcome to the Aladdin's cave of mid-century furniture, appliances, antiques, décor and gifts! If you don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on furniture then the Upcycle Design Centre warehouse is for you - you will find some great used furniture deals, no matter what you are looking for. 

​

The used antique furniture store was set up in early 2019 and it has become a popular place with locals, students, collectors and friends of antiques. We are one of a few hidden gem antique shops in Sydney. 

​

Our second hand office furniture is also very popular. 

​

Our goal is to become the biggest and best second hand furniture store in Sydney - so we are growing every day. We have a huge array of original condition antiques, as well as restored Victorian antiques, art-deco furniture, and mid-century décor and furniture. 

​

Our stock is constantly changing. We have over 500 lamps small and large. An entire warehouse full of fridges, washers and dryers. Marble coffee tables, chairs, bespoke desks - it really is the largest second hand furniture warehouse in Sydney. We pride ourselves on offering a combination of cheap furniture in sydney, and antiques and antiquities in Sydney.

We receive truck loads (literally) of furniture each week - so come visit our warehouse - and wonder our treasure trove of interesting second hand furniture and antiques, right in Sydney next to Darling Harbour. 

​

We also help out in our local community! We partner with Pyrmont Cares, a service that helps furnish properties for those in need in the City of Sydney, with a keen focus on sustainable furniture donations and voulnteering spirit. We donate to Pyrmont Cares on a request basis - where they may have a requirements for 3 microwaves and 4 coffee tables, we source these and donate them. We have also donated container ship loads of linen, kitchen items, crockery and cutlery to Tonga during their 2022 earthquake disaster. There were over 2000 brand new hotel sheet sets we were able to source and donate, as well as well over 75 boxes of kitchen items and utensils and the basics that would get the Island on its feet.

We have also donated shipments of kitchen items, clothing, and electronics to Equatorial Guinea. 

​

Conditions of Sale

​

- All of our items are pre-loved. Items are sold as they are presented in our warehouse. 

- Should you purchase online without prior viewing in our warehouse, items are delievered as they are. We encourage all our customers to view our unique one off items prior to purchase. We are not Kmart - our one off items are bespoke second hand items repaired with love - however may be imperfect. Please inspect prior to purchase.

Delivery

- Delivery costs are paid to a third party provider, and are non-refundable once consmed (delivered).
